County Durham resin bound paving, resin bound patio and resin bound driveway specialists Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed a resin bound paving system upon a concrete substrate in Bishop Auckland in County Durham

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamind grinding to provide a key for the new resin bound paving system.

A 20mm aluminium trim was installed to the perimeter edges of the patio area. The prepared concrete substrate of 160m2 was then encapsulated with an epoxy resin primer and left to cure.

The UV stable resin bound paving system was then installed by trowel upon the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate at a depth of 20mm. The aggregate chosen for this project was a 2mm - 5mm Rhine Gold. The works were executed in two days.
