Industrial Food Grade Resin Flooring North East

Food grade and industrial resin flooring experts Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed a seamless hygienic food grade polyurethane resin flooring system at a famous restaurant chain in Sunderland Tyne and Wear North East England.

A decayed concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new heavy duty polyurethane floor screed. Saw cuts 10mm wide and 10mm deep were then cut around the perimiters of the concrete floor surface to anchor the polyurethane flooring system once installed. The prepared concrete floor surface was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The prepared concrete substrate was then primed with a high build solvent free epoxy primer and broadcasted with a dry silica coarse aggregate and allowed to cure.

A seamless anti slip heavy duty food grade polyurethane resin floor screed was then applied by trowel to the primed concrete substrate at a depth of 9mm in the colour battleship grey to complete the operation.
