Gravel Floor Screeds Paving Pathways Surfacing North East

Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed over 2700m of decorative permeable gravel floor screeds in Weston Super Mare as part of a coastal regeneration and flood protection scheme on behalf of North Somerset County Council.

This regeneration project has transformed the landscape of the coastal resort with a mix of hard landscaping surfaces, cafes, restaurants and shops. Visitor numbers are well up on previous years.

The gravel floor screeding system was installed upon an asphalt substrate and tied into pre installed edge details made up of different types of stone, rocks and paving slabs. This resin bonded stone surface was installed at 20mm to an asphalt substrate primed with an epoxy resin primer. The decorative aggregate chosen for this particular project was golden corn flint.
