Epoxy North East England Resin Concrete Floor Coatings

Epoxy specialists Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed 3200m2 of solvent free epoxy resin floor coatings within a factory production area in County Durham in the North East of England.

The works were executed over a number of weekends to minimise disruption to our clients manufacturing operations. The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove a defective coating from the floor surface and to provide a key for the new solvent free epoxy floor coatings. The prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

A high build epoxy resin primer was then applied to the prepared floor surface and allowed to cure. Once the epoxy resin primer had cured two coats of a solvent free epoxy resin flooring were then applied to the primed substrate. The colour brick red was used to highlight the pedestrian walkways and mid grey to highlight the production areas.

When the high build epoxy resin flooring system had fully cured. Line demarcation was added to the edges of the walkways to complete the operation.
